The Khatt Items Basic Table Light fitting to put on a flat surface like a table, a desk, or a dresser, can be fabricated on various ways. The most economic one is 3D print with a thermoplastic like pla or bsa. The wall thickness will be between 2 and 3 mm and the printing options are relatively wide. The only disadvantage of this production method is the combination of a thermoplastic and a light bulb.

The second method is 3D print in ceramics (some providers now call it ‘porcelain’. The constraints of this method are stricter, The wall thickness will be about 6 mm. The visual result is less informal than of a product printed with plastic material.

The standard measurements of the 3D prints are: 150 mm height and a footprint of around 80 x 80 mm.

The third production method is cnc routing of solid surface material of 12 mm thick. These design will be bigger starting from around 120 x 120 x 200 mm. This is the least economic way of production but the result is very robust.
